Excipient

Pharmaceutical formulation typically contents excipients for various purposes, albumin has traditionally being a convenient choice since its role as multifunctional excipient. The use of albumin could reduce the drug registration time toward commercialization and save substantial development cost.

Besides the well known effect of binding and stabilizing molecules, and thus prevent aggregation and nonspecific adsorption, it could also act as protectant to prevent drug substance from oxidative damage.

Albcura’s deAlbumin® is derived from Pichia Pastoris, and is extensively purified and processed to meet the purity specified in USP <rAlbumin> chapter.

At present, we are working with regulatory bodies to fulfill the necessary documentation process for a legitimate supplier. Please Contact Us if you have any questions.
